Private Classes

A class of your own.

Some families would rather gather a few children around their own table. A private session brings the same curriculum, the same certified instruction, and the same certificate — to your home, your club, or wherever you'd like to hold it.

Travel within 30 miles of the instructor is included. Beyond that, a flat $75 travel fee applies. Additional classes may be booked at the same rate.

Why Families Choose It

An occasion, not just a lesson.

Gathering three friends turns a lesson into an occasion. Children learn more readily among people they know, and the conversation practice comes easily when there's already something to talk about.

A private class also moves at your pace. If your children need more time on the place setting and less on thank-you notes, Marita will adjust. In a class of sixteen, she cannot.

And it travels. Birthdays, holiday gatherings, the weekend before a family wedding — the class arrives wherever the occasion is.

How to Arrange One

Four steps from inquiry to certificates.

  1. Write to us with the date you have in mind, roughly where you are, and how many children.
  2. We'll confirm availability and send a short agreement with the date, fee, and details.
  3. Marita arrives thirty minutes early to set the table.
  4. Certificates are presented at the end, and the room is left as we found it.
